2009 - There is a brand new section here at
www.swivek.com - In my quest to
start writing a bit more I've decided to share with you a little of what
I've written in the past (and hopefully in the future) so there is now a
brand new BRAD'S WRITING section. So check
out our BLOG, the BRAD'S WRITING and the LYRICS pages for the albums to
read all of my deepest (and shallowest) thoughts. Also the new album is gearing up for a release this fall - EVERYBODY HATES YOU is the title and it's a whole new direction of Swivek - so get your wigs and keys ready kiddies cuz it'll be here before you know it! Mmmmwaaa! |

| DECEMBER 23, 2008 - I just finished up a brand new Swivek video! Can
you even believe it? We (me and the voices in my head) were wrapping
presents and singing songs when I decided it was high time Swivek did a
Christmas song so we amped up the mic and did a little rocking cover of
"Blue Christmas" and now there's a hot little video to go along with it
- so wrap yourself up in some twinkle lights, grab a spiced egg nog and
watch our video!

2008It's been forever but we finally have some things abrewing here in Swivek land. First I've been working and working all spring long for new songs and am so very close to finally be satisfied with them. A working album title is Everybody Hates You but I may have to venture back in the 'studio' for some new beats - but there will be a single this summer fer sure, fer sure. And in producing news - Swivek (Bradley Jacobson) is producing a track for LA glitteratti glam slams Shitting Glitter that will (hopefully) be on their new summer single as a B-side! So keep checking back we will be updating more and more and check your emails for the latest news - and of course our My Space page for more frequent updates I SWEAR!

14, 2007Our Flex Rex friends have left the building - that's right kiddies - there is no more Flexible Records so we're forced into giving our music away ourselves! And when I say ourselves I mean me, Bradley, Swivek if you will... so run your digits over the album cover and you will find yourself in a whole new state of colour - where you can download FOR FREE! the latest Swivek album INTO THE BLUE ..Into the Blue is another varied entry into the vast Swivek repertoire, from the power-bop of the original "Flirt" to the electronic space drones of "She is Peace" and the manic "Happy Happy Happy" which is like a rum and Coke spiked with a shot of pure dopamine. The LP is tempered with some mellower moments, like the ultra-catchy modern pop of "Not a Love Song" and the tender "Deep Inside", where Bradley really allows the inner flame of his smoky voice to burn through. All that plus a very random electro take on a Pat Benatar classic. Into the Blue is short, sweet and to the point. Just set your iPod to "repeat".
